The first images that were taken with a modified Canon XSi / 450D camera are shown below. Here is the link to additional information about the modifications done to the Canon 450D camera.
The telescope was a 200mm f/5 Newtonian with a Baader multipurpose coma corrector (MPCC) used to address the coma inherent in the Newtonian design. An Astronomik CLS clip in filter was used to combat light pollution. The telescope mount was a Losmandy G-11 guided with PHD Guiding.
